Suns vs Clips, it’s all fouls and free throws

Happy Sunday Morning squad,

Look last night’s game was ugly…

1)The Suns inch out a win..

If this series has taught me anything it’s that..these two teams are far more evenly matched than we thought.

No Kawhi, and behind as much as 16, the Clippers dropped a 30 point quarter, that brought them back into the game.

But after that, some of the worst basketball played by both sides.

It felt like you couldn’t buy a bucket.

These two teams only made 9 total 3’s made for the game. Combined!!

And the referee calls and reviews.

There were so many questionable ones.

Non-foul calls, a foul reversal that kicked Devin Booker out the game. An out of bound play that looked exactly like one in game 3, that they chose not to review!!

The rest of the game played out at the free throw line.

PG overcame his 4th quarter mishap and bottoms 2 at the line, putting the Clippers within 1.

Then foul, foul, foul.

Clippers down 3, after another foul on PG. They send him to the line.

They need a bucket and to get the ball back.

So Ty Lue says, “PG..”

“Yes coach.”

“We really need you right now.”

“I got you coach, I won’t let you down like last time, I’m gonna drain the..”

“We need you to miss PG!! And I mean miss badly! Ben Simmons meets Dwight Howard bad.”

“Ok…”

Then Paul steps to the line and shoots….

And it bounces, flies in the air over 7’0 Zubac, 6’10 Demarcus Cousins..and..

Ends up in the shortest player, Chris Paul’s hands.

It’s just the way the ball bounces.

Suns are now up 3–1.

Heading back to Phoenix.

We’ll see if they close it out.

This series feels a lot closer than the record.

That’s it.

Have a great Sunday!
